KB Wedding Videography is a Somerset-based team of wedding videographers & filmmakers, creating luxury documentary wedding films for couples across Somerset, Bath, Bristol, Devon, Cornwall, the Cotswolds and Wales, as well as throughout the UK and at destination weddings.
Led by Kien, with a team of experienced associate videographers, we have over 15 years' experience, more than 1,500 weddings filmed and hundreds of 5-star reviews from happy couples. We deliberately limit the number of weddings we take on each year, so every couple receives our full care and attention.

Our documentary style is all about telling your story honestly. Rather than staging moments, we quietly capture the real ones as they happen, from the laughter and happy tears to the little details and those unforgettable dance moves on the dance floor. Our calm, relaxed and unobtrusive approach means you can stay fully present and enjoy your day, while we document it naturally.

We never rely on generic templates. We take the time to get to know every couple, including a pre-wedding call before the big day, so your film truly reflects your personalities and the atmosphere of your wedding. Couples often tell us how comfortable we made them feel, and that ease shows in natural, heartfelt footage.

- Highlight film: a beautifully edited film of your day, from 4-6 minutes up to a 12-15 minute feature film, depending on your package
- Social media reel: a short, shareable film included with every package
- Full-length films: your ceremony and speeches in full, plus your first dance with The Legacy
- Drone footage: aerial shots of your venue and surroundings with The Story and The Legacy, where permitted
Popular add-ons include a second videographer, our Speedy Edit (films delivered within two weeks) and our Documentary Edit, a longer film of your day told through its natural audio.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding is special, but one that really stands out is Laura and Laura's wedding at Leigh Court. Their ceremony in the Great Hall was incredibly emotional, and the dip kiss as they came back down the aisle was a perfect moment to capture. The energy, love and fun throughout the whole day made it one we'll never forget.

What about your business are you most proud of?
We're most proud that our films truly mean something to the couples we work with. Knowing they can relive their wedding day, and that their film will be treasured for years to come, is an incredible feeling. Over 15 years and more than 1,500 weddings, we've built an amazing team, earned hundreds of 5-star reviews and become a recommended supplier at venues we love, and we're so grateful for every couple who's trusted us along the way.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Build a little breathing space into your timeline. Days with a few spare minutes here and there always feel more relaxed, and it means you can step away together for a quiet moment after the ceremony. Those few minutes are often some of the most special in the whole film.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Lego centrepieces! It was such a playful, personal touch that said so much about the couple, and it gave guests something fun to chat about on every table. It's details like these that make a wedding feel uniquely yours, and we always make sure they feature in the film.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
1️⃣ Initial Chat: we'll talk through your wedding plans, what you'd love from your film and which package suits you best.
2️⃣ Booking and Planning: a £100 deposit secures your date. Around 4-6 weeks before the wedding, we'll send you a pre-wedding form, followed by a relaxed pre-wedding call to go through the timings and finer details together.
3️⃣ On the Day: we work quietly in the background, capturing your day naturally as it unfolds, so you can relax and stay present.
4️⃣ Editing and Delivery: your films are carefully edited and graded, then delivered in 4K through your own private online gallery. If you'd love them sooner, our Speedy Edit gets them back to you within two weeks.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
At Hope and Josh's wedding at Quantock Lakes, they had singing waiters who completely surprised their guests during the wedding breakfast. The reactions were priceless, and it was such a fun moment to capture on film.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
It has to be About Time. It's beautifully shot, full of emotion, and tells a love story in such a natural, honest way. The way it captures the small, everyday moments that end up meaning the most is exactly what we aim for in our wedding films.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
We love music with a gentle build, so the emotion flows naturally through the film. Soft piano, acoustic guitar and heartfelt vocals work beautifully, but the best soundtrack is always the one that suits the couple, whether that's uplifting, romantic or fun. We use a premium music library, and we're always happy to help you choose the perfect tracks.
Describe how you got into videography.
Our story began with filming live music gigs and events, but once Kien filmed his first wedding, he was hooked. He fell in love with the emotion, the storytelling and the once-in-a-lifetime moments that weddings bring. Over 15 years, KB Wedding Videography has grown into a team creating luxury documentary wedding films, with more than 1,500 weddings filmed, and we still can't imagine doing anything else. 🎥✨
