We're Eve & Andrew, the celebrant duo behind We Do Brighton.
As former local authority registrars, we've had the privilege of officiating over 1000 legal marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. We've stood in the Royal Pavilion, Amex football stadium, The Secret Garden, hotels, the bandstand and at the very top of the Brighton i360 (162m in the sky), supporting couples from every walk of life say "I do" in their own way.
Over twenty years experience between us means we've seen what works, what doesn't, and, most importantly, how to help you feel calm, confident, and completely yourselves on the day.
What makes We Do Brighton unique is that you don't just get one celebrant — you get both of us, working together as a team. And don't worry, twice the celebrants doesn't mean twice the price. Having wwo celebrants means twice the warmth, ideas and reassurance. You get double the support while planning your ceremony, with two people who really get to know you both and what you want your day to feel like. On the day itself, you'll have a friendly, familiar face on each side of you, so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
Because we spent years working as official local authority registrars, we understand the wedding system inside out - we know the legal guidelines and can guide you through the quick, low-cost paperwork at the Town Hall so you can enjoy creative freedom for your ceremony with us.
At heart, we believe that your ceremony should feel personal, not performed. No two ceremonies we write are ever the same, because no two couples are ever the same. Our job is to listen to your story and turn it into words that actually sound like you — heartfelt, honest, and full of the little details that make your relationship yours.
We also provide optional pre-wedding "Ceremony Fit" coaching with Andrew, designed to help the nervous bride or groom prepare in the run-up to the big day. Nerves before a wedding are completely normal, and our coaching sessions are all about helping you settle those nerves, find your voice, and walk into your ceremony feeling ready rather than rattled. Andrew is a qualified coach with over 20 years experience.

Where have you done weddings before?
We've conduced ceremonies in many of Brighton & Hove's hotels. We've also married people in landmark buildings such as the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Bandstand, Brighton Pier, and the i360. Some of these have been weddings with over 100 guests but many have been smaller, more intimate ceremonies.
Do you work outside of Brighton?
Yes - whilst we're called We Do Brighton, we generally offer ceremonies within an hour drive from Brighton. And get in touch - we're happy to travel further.
Can we add rituals and readings?
Yes! We love rituals like handfasting and ring warming. We're happy to recommend readings, music and poetry and build these into your ceremony.
