Hi, I'm Susan 👋
Warm, Funny,
Wise
I bring people together with warmth, humour, and heart, creating moments that feel deeply personal, emotionally safe, and genuinely unforgettable.
When you work with me, I've been told it feels less like a supplier and more like a trusted friend standing beside them through one of the biggest moments of your lives. I'm warm, funny, emotionally intelligent, and incredibly good at making people feel seen. I have this rare ability to hold both the meaningful and the ridiculous at the same time, which is exactly what most brilliant weddings are made of. I'll calm your nerves and hold you steady

She was calm, gentle, and organised.
Susan is a great celebrant. She was calm, gentle, and organised, which put us at ease right from the start. On the day, she checked in with the bridal party beforehand and made sure the groom and groomsmen were relaxed and ready, which helped settle any nerves. The ceremony itself was personalised and truly reflected us as a couple - so many of our guests commented on how special it felt. In the lead-up, she kept in regular contact and was always reassuring, making the whole process smooth and s

A personal and unique ceremony
Susan has been fantastic from the first meeting to the even after the ceremony. I felt at ease that our ceremony was in the best hands possible and would be exactly what we were looking for. Susan made it completely personalised to us and our story and everyone commented on how wonderful the ceremony was. We felt that it was a great experience and Susan definitely has the expertise and knowledge on how to get to know the couples who have entrusted their ceremony to her. I would recommend Susan

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

They are all memorable... but just married Kane and Jess at St Anthony's chapel in Holyrood Park in Edinburgh. One word. INCREDIBLE. Check out my insta highlights for that amazing wedding.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Warm, engaging, concise, humorous, uplifting

What about your business are you most proud of?

Each ceremony I write is different, no two are the same and in that regard, I'm super proud.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Create a checklist and give each other tasks to do. Create an email address that you can both access that will be the main place for all the arrangements so nothing gets lost. Ask for help when you need it!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love a wedding when dogs are involved, at one the couple's dog loved to take his dad's slippers everywhere, so he brought the rings in the slippers. So cute.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

When you first get in touch, I like to find out about the ideas you have for your ceremony. Your personalities are what make a ceremony memorable by adding in all the things that make you unique. We start by meeting, getting the details right, follow up by going through my Wedding Kit which gives you everything you need to know to plan your day, we meet again to discuss and I'll then write a truly bespoke ceremony for you, this take a little bit of time and lots of chat, then we get you married!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Ooh heading outdoors somewhere, a hike up a hill or a forgotten chapel in the woods - they always have their challenges (weather) but nothing that a brolly and boots can't solve!

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Get the details right, confirm and re-confirm and know that even if something doesn't quite go to plan, you are still there, with the people you love and that's what matters.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Spending time with people who are in love. Love truly does conquer all... it's also a HUGE privilege, I don't take it for granted.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

The declaration of becoming husband and wife/wife-wife/husband-husband/partners for life. It's such a glorious moment!
