Symbolic rituals can add a lovely layer of storytelling to ceremony. You might be drawn to something familiar like handfasting, sand blending, unity candles, a quaich ceremony or something completely bespoke.
If you’d like to include an element but have no idea where to begin, I guide you. I adore coming up with unique ideas that connect to something real in your relationship. I recently created a symbolic ritual called ‘The Rest Is Still Unwritten’, inspired by a couple that love to journal. It’s not for everyone, but it’s for them.
If rituals aren’t your thing then that’s grand too! With a celebrant there are no rules about what a ceremony should look like, as long as it feels like you. We'll start with the things you love (and don't!) and go from there.
I've lived across the UK, Spain and America, home has never felt like one place. Travel, people and culture have shaped who I am and the way I approach my celebrancy. It’s shaped how I think about belonging and celebration. For me, a place matters because of the memories it holds, the feeling it creates and the people gathering there.

What are your celebrant training credentials
I'm a professionally trained wedding and naming celebrant, having completed my qualifications with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy (AMC), an approved NOCN Training Centre. NOCN is an awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual.
I warmly welcome people of all faiths and none. Whether you'd love a completely non-religious ceremony or something spiritual, we'll create something special that feels like you.
I'm also undertaking further training with Sacred Heart Sanctuary, my chosen belief body, as I work towards becoming legally authorised to solemnise marriages in Scotland.
I'm a proud founding member of the Celebrant Guild and a provisional member of the Scottish Independent Celebrant Association (SICA), reflecting my commitment to professionalism, continued learning and high standards of celebrancy.
Can you legally marry us?
Weddings booked with me from February 2027 onwards can include legal solemnisation as part of your ceremony in Scotland.
I'm affiliated with Sacred Heart Sanctuary, my chosen belief body, and I'm currently working towards becoming legally authorised to solemnise marriages myself, with my own authorisation anticipated by August 2027.
In the meantime, I'll lead the personal, heartfelt ceremony we create together, with an authorised Sacred Heart Sanctuary celebrant colleague attending to legally solemnise your marriage.
I'll always be completely clear about what applies to your wedding date and the options available to you. I've got you!
Planning your wedding elsewhere in the UK or overseas? I'd love to celebrate with you! Legal requirements vary depending on your destination, so we'll chat through what applies to your plans and how best to arrange the legal formalities.
Do you travel?
Yes, it's my thing! Renfrewshire is my base, but I travel across Scotland, the wider UK and beyond. I love hearing about your celebrations, wherever they are in the world.
Travel within 90 minutes of Bishopton PA7 Scotland is included. If your ceremony is further afield, we'll chat through any additional costs before you book.

If you’re looking for a ceremony that is full of heart and soul, without the pressure to perform or do things just because it’s tradition or trending – I’ve got you!
What happens if you can't attend on the day?
I only book one ceremony per day, so you have my full attention.
If a genuine emergency meant I absolutely couldn’t be there, I would let you and your suppliers know straight away and work with my trusted celebrant network to arrange professional cover.
My ceremony scripts also include a clear running order and all the information needed to make any unexpected handover as smooth as possible. Hopefully it’s a plan we’ll never need!
Can we have a rehearsal or site visit?
Absolutely. If a rehearsal or site visit would be helpful, we'll build that into the planning. Some ceremonies really benefit from walking things through beforehand, while others might only need a clear running order and a calm check-in before everything begins. We'll work out what's best for you and your plans.
Can we include religion, spirituality or cultural traditions?
Absolutely! I create ceremonies that honour your beliefs, values and traditions.
We can include prayer, blessings, cultural traditions, spirituality, rituals, signs and synchronicity, or none of those things at all.
If different beliefs, cultures or traditions are coming together, we can talk through what you'd like to include and find a way to honour them with care and respect.
How do we book?
Send me a message! We'll start with a wee chat so you can tell me what you're celebrating, ask any questions and get a feel for whether I'm the right celebrant for you. If you'd like to go ahead, an agreement and £100 booking deposit will secure your date.
How much does it cost?
Weddings and elopements start from £550, vow renewals start from £500.
For ceremonies, your date is secured with a signed agreement and £100 booking deposit with the remaining balance due 90 days before your ceremony.
If you’re booking closer to the date, I’ll adjust the payment schedule accordingly.
