Hi, I’m Zoltan, the photographer behind The Soul of My Lens Wedding Photo and Video.
Based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, I photograph weddings across the South East of England and throughout the UK.
With over 150 weddings photographed, I’ve learned that the most beautiful wedding photographs often happen when you’re simply enjoying yourselves. My style is relaxed, creative and documentary-led, capturing genuine emotions, spontaneous laughter, happy tears and all those little moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
I know that not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera, and that’s absolutely fine! I’m patient, easy-going and friendly, and I’ll help you feel relaxed from the moment we meet. I’ll give you gentle direction when needed, especially for your couple portraits, but I’ll never turn your wedding into a long photoshoot. I want you to spend time with your favourite people, enjoy every moment and have fun, while I capture the story as it unfolds.
My approach is about more than taking beautiful photographs. I want you to enjoy the whole experience, from our first conversation and planning together to receiving your finished gallery. Many of my couples tell me it felt like having a friend with them on their wedding day, and that’s one of the loveliest compliments I could receive.
I also love adding a creative touch to my work, finding interesting angles, beautiful light and unexpected opportunities to create something a little different. Alongside natural, candid photographs, I’ll capture beautiful portraits and those special, creative images that make you say, “Wow!”
I offer a range of wedding photography packages, with options for engagement sessions, wedding albums, second photographers and wedding videography. Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or a full day of wedding festivities, I’ll work with you to find the right coverage for your plans.
If you’re looking for a creative, relaxed and friendly wedding photographer in Sussex or anywhere in the UK, who cares about both your photographs and your experience, I’d love to hear about your wedding plans!
Absolutely! You're not alone—most of my couples have never done a professional photo shoot. I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and give you prompts for natural, romantic shots and I’ll guide you with easy directions.
You’ll be surprised at how enjoyable the experience can be!
If you want to do a little practice before your big day I offer pre-wedding sessions too.
Relaxed, friendly, creative, documentary, natural
I’m most proud of the connections I build with my couples and the trust they put in me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. It means so much when couples tell me they felt completely comfortable with me, almost like having a friend around, and that their photos bring all the emotions of the day back. Knowing that my work will help them relive those memories for years to come is what makes me love what I do.
My number one tip is to remember that your wedding day is about the two of you, not about making everything perfect.
Make time to enjoy the day together, spend time with your favourite people, and don't worry too much about the little things that might not go exactly to plan. Those spontaneous, unexpected moments often become the best memories. And trust your suppliers to take care of their part, so you can relax and be fully present.
Absolutely! I'd be delighted to help you with planning the wedding timeline.
After photographing many weddings over the years, I've really got a good feel for how much time is ideal to capture everything beautifully and keep things running smoothly.
What this means is that I can capture both photos and a short wedding highlight film on the same day, as one person, in the same natural and relaxed style you already know. There’s no big video crew, just real moments and emotions, filmed quietly as the day happens.
I’d say a beautiful, relaxed photo of just the two of you, taking a moment away from the celebrations. It doesn’t have to be a perfectly posed shot; just the two of you enjoying each other’s company, perhaps at sunset. Years later, I want you to look at that photo and remember not only how you looked, but how you felt in that moment.
I usually recommend setting aside about 30 minutes on your wedding day for couple portraits. This gives us enough time to capture some beautiful, relaxed shots without keeping you away from your friends and family for too long.
We’ll always discuss the plan before the wedding to make sure it fits perfectly with your schedule, so you can enjoy the moment and still be part of the celebration!
Beautiful portraits inside your venue and an umbrella shot outside :)
If it rains on your wedding day, don’t worry!
I have plenty of experience shooting in rainy conditions. We can create stunning indoor images, and even capture a few unique and fun moments in the rain itself! Plus, rain on a wedding day is considered good luck, making your day even more special!
I have experience working with various wedding venues across the UK. If I haven't photographed at your specific venue before, I'll make it a priority to visit beforehand to familiarize myself with the space and identify the best locations for capturing stunning shots.
