Planning your wedding is one of the most exciting things you'll ever do, and having the right photographer makes all the difference. With over 12 years of experience shooting weddings across the UK and beyond, I bring calm professionalism and a genuine love of the craft to every single day I photograph.
My approach blends candid documentary photography with a hint of editorial flair. I focus on real emotions, unscripted moments, and the kind of images that feel alive — full of laughter, tears, and everything in between. Alongside those spontaneous fly-on-the-wall shots, I also create beautifully composed portraits that are relaxed, natural, and worth framing.
From the moment we first chat to the day you receive your final gallery, the experience is designed to feel easy. On the day itself, I blend into the background and let things unfold naturally. Most couples tell me afterwards they barely noticed me working. You'll receive sneak peek images typically within 24 hours, with your full gallery delivered well within the timescales you'd expect.
Oooh I'd like to say my own wedding was the most memorable but firstly guess that's cheating and secondly it'd be a big fat fib! It whooshed by faster than a greyhound on a sugar rush, leaving me with just a blur of confetti and cake. In fact if it wasn't for the photos, I'd be convinced it never happened! That's why my golden advice to couples is to soak up every last second of their day. Hit pause, breathe it all in, and enjoy the wild ride that is your wedding day!
Natural, Unobtrusive, Documentary with a hint of editorial
Where do I even start? It's a toss-up between my wife joining the business as a videographer.
Or the humbling reality that every year, more than 50 couples trust me to capture the rollercoaster of emotions on one of the most important days of their lives.
Honestly, it's a bit like choosing your favourite kid. Impossible!
Take some time to spend with each other!
I'm a sucker for a well written emotional speech. I've been known to well up inside!
Once you've booked, I keep things straightforward and stress-free. I'm always available by DM or WhatsApp if you have questions along the way, but I won't be pestering you unnecessarily.
As your wedding approaches, we'll have a pre-wedding call to go through timings, key family members to know and anything else that helps the day run smoothly. On the day itself, your only job is to enjoy every moment while I work quietly in the background and take care of everything else.
As much as I'm a fan of those candid, story-telling shots, there's one picture I won't leave without. That's what I call the 'crowd pleaser.' It's nothing more than a snap of you two beaming directly at the camera. Why, you ask? Because it's grandma's favourite and we all know we have to keep granny happy!
Rain is practically a British wedding tradition at this point, so don't let it worry you. Some of my favourite images have been captured on wet days. There's a mood and atmosphere to rainy weather that bright sunshine simply can't replicate.
My advice is to embrace it, enjoy yourselves and leave the rest to me. I've shot in all conditions and I'll always find a way to make it work beautifully.
It was an ephinany. A lightning bolt moment! Picture me standing atop Pride Rock, camera hoisted high, while the jungle animals took a bow and Elton John something about circles and life. Okay, I might be pulling your leg a bit. The real story isn't quite as dramatic, but it was indeed a light bulb moment! If you're dying to know then, drop me a line and I'll spill the beans
