Petals & Posies is a floral design & wedding styling studio based in Hampshire, creating thoughtfully composed weddings across the South. Led by Nicola Waddilove, the studio is known for its refined approach to florals, styling & atmosphere, shaping celebrations that feel personal, balanced & beautifully considered.
Working across country houses, barns, manor houses & contemporary venues, Nicola & her team design weddings that respond naturally to both the couple & the setting. Every detail is carefully considered, from the movement of the florals to the candlelight, textures & styling elements that shape the overall experience of the day.

From bridal bouquets & buttonholes to floral meadows, ceremony designs & statement installations, every arrangement is created using natural flowers selected to complement the space, season & atmosphere of the wedding.
Styling & Décor
Alongside florals, Petals & Posies offers wedding styling & décor to help bring a sense of flow & refinement throughout the day. This includes candlelight styling, table décor, welcome signage, styling details, statement pieces & carefully selected finishing touches.

What type of weddings are we best suited to?
We are best suited to couples who want natural refined wedding flowers and a seamless overall look. Many of our couples book us for both florals and styling so their celebration feels beautifully considered from ceremony through to their reception.
Do you offer both florals and styling, or can we book just one service?
Yes. Most couples choose our full design service for a seamless look, but you’re welcome to book either floral design or event styling individually. We’ll ensure your chosen service still feels cohesive and beautifully finished.
Can we spread the cost of our wedding flowers and styling?
Yes, we can offer flexible payment options through our accounting system, allowing you to manage the cost in a way that feels right for you.
How do we begin our design journey?
Simply get in touch through our Book a Consultation or Contact page. We’ll arrange an initial chat to learn more about your plans and begin creating something truly beautiful together.
What happens during the consultation?
We’ll discuss your ideas, venue, and style to understand your vision. You can share inspiration, colours, and textures you love, and we’ll begin designing a concept that feels personal and true to you..
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 9 to 12 months before your wedding or event, especially during peak season. For smaller events or farewell flowers, we can often accommodate shorter lead times.
Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes, our minimum spend for weddings taking place from April through to the end of September is £1,750. Most couples spend around £2,500 for combined floral and styling services. As every wedding is bespoke, we create a tailored proposal based on your plans, priorities and the overall scale of your day.
Can you work with our existing planner or venue stylist?
Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with planners, photographers, and venues across the region. Clear communication ensures every element from flowers to lighting works together in harmony.
Do you use sustainable or locally grown flowers?
Wherever possible, we use British-grown, seasonal blooms sourced from trusted local growers. Sustainability is central to our work, from composting green waste to using reusable vessels and structures.
Which areas do you cover?
We’re based near Southampton and design weddings and events across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Surrey, Berkshire and West Sussex. For larger projects, we’re happy to travel further by arrangement.
