What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
If you're inviting children, make sure there's something for them to do throughout the reception so that your adult guests can relax and get involved.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Looking after children is the part of the job we take most seriously. Our team is there to keep every child safe, included and properly cared for, while parents get to enjoy the day. Our safeguarding policy guides everything we do, and our people are chosen for their warmth as much as their energy. The result is children who feel the adventure was made just for them
Describe your typical process with a couple.
It starts with a chat by phone or email, and we’re happy to meet face to face if you’d prefer. We then put together a few ideas tailored to your day and send them over as a simple tick-box list, so you can pick what you love and leave out what you don’t. Once you’ve made your choices, we confirm everything, then arrive in good time to set up so the fun is ready to go when the children are.
What is your No.1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
Include everyone, from the youngest guest to the oldest. Give the teenagers a challenge of their own, and make sure the four-year-olds have a job too. When every age group has something to do, nobody gets bored, and the whole room joins in
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
We've helped at weddings all over the world but our favourites have to include Cowdray House, the Maldives and Mumbai.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
At a wedding in Corsica, we were looking after the 20 children who were there for the long weekend. On the morning of the wedding, the old classic car lined up to collect the bride and her father did not arrive, so we had to step in using a hire car to drive the bride and her father to the church, luckily the rest of our team were under control looking after the children, we got to have a go at being a chauffeur and the bride got to church on time!
