The Kings Head is a stunning boutique venue located in the heart of the historic town of Cirencester. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, our venue is the perfect setting for an intimate event for family and close friends or something larger.
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Lavender Hall, Rooftop Terrace (weather dependant), Vaulted Cellar, Library and Event Lounge. Meaning there is something for everyone! You're welcome to pick and choose where you'd like to host your Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception.
The Lavender Hall is a distinctively impressive space with a rooftop terrace ideal for that Champagne reception and the perfect backdrop for those all important wedding snapshots, hosting up to 150 guests.
For a more intimate gathering, our Library space is perfect for an intimate wedding ceremony accommodating 2 to 20 guests. Our Wine Cellar is a beautiful location for a romantic Wedding Breakfast for up to 18 people.
Why not also take advantage of using our Vaulted Cellar as part of your celebrations? Our hidden basement space almost always offers that 'wow' factor as the guests walk in and has an atmosphere of its own. Hosting up to 80 people for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and 150 people for your evening celebrations.
Yes, you can pick and choose your event spaces for each section of the day!
When guests are ready to settle their heads, we have 62 bedrooms in house. All Weddings in house receive 20% discount on the best available rate the night before and night of your wedding.

We used a lot of suppliers recommended to us by Daisy and we loved them all. We checked into the hotel the night before our wedding. The room for the bride the night before was lovely and spacious - we had 7 of us getting ready in the room plus the makeup artist and 2 hairdressers and had plenty of space. Throughout the whole planning progress, Daisy was incredible - keeping us updated and guiding us through our amazing day. We used a lot of suppliers recommended to us by Daisy and we loved them all. We checked into the hotel the night before our wedding. The room for the bride the night before was lovely and spacious - we had 7 of us getting ready in the room plus the makeup artist and 2 hairdressers and had plenty of space.

So many guests commented on how great the day was, with a few saying it was the best wedding they’d ever been to! Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff! We had an amazing day, best decision by booking our wedding with KHH. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere that you can host an entire wedding but still be a little different, this is one hundred percent the space for you. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Every wedding we have seen at the venue have all been beautiful because, they're all individual and reflect the personalities of our wedding couples. We love a winter wedding and our wedding spaces lend themselves perfectly for your cosy wedding setting. Summertime with our Rooftop Terrace, the sunshining makes a great backdrop for your confetti pictures!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We love the personalised details. Favours, cake toppers, photos of the happy couple, anything you can make really personal to the two of you so that your guests have something to remember in years to come. A previous couple created a welcome sign, showing them as little children - really sweet.
