This unique, self-contained space—once an architect’s studio—features a striking brushed gold wall and easily transforms from a dining area into a dance floor. It comfortably holds up to 50 seated guests or 80 standing. During warmer months, the adjoining terrace with heat lamps offers a charming spot for arrival drinks and mingling.

We had the most amazing time from Thursday on our arrival to the hotel right through to Sunday when me and Lloyd left to come home. All our guests were so impressed and really loved the venue. They all said How delicious the food was and the staff were fantastic.Both me and Lloyd would like to say a massive thank you to you and all the staff for the warm welcome and the way you set our wedding room. We only wanted simple but anyone wanting anything more can do it, it’s the individual’s choice and that was what is so good about the venue- the room is yours to arrange with whatever wedding décor you wish. Is there a room hire cost?
We work off minimum spends at The Highfield so everything you buy/spend works towards the minimum spend! It means you can maximise your budget and really have the most special day.
Do you do drinks packages?
Yes we offer 3 different drinks packages.
Buy 5 bottles of our Prosecco and you an extra bottle for free
Buckets of Beer
Buy 5 bottles of our house wine (white, rose or red) and get an extra bottle for free.
Do you have a corkage fee?
Yes, we do accept corkage on wines and Prosecco/Champagne for a fee per bottle.
When can we access the Highfield Studio?
The Highfield Studio is yours for the entire day so access can be granted from 8am in the morning, regardless of when you say your 'I dos'! We can liaise with your event suppliers to ensure the room is ready for you.
Can I do my own table plan?
Of course! Every wedding we do is bespoke for the happy couple. We want the day to be special and memorable. If you would like banquet style seating arrangements or smaller groups of tables then we will work it to fit your requests and vision as much as the room allows- depending on wedding party numbers.
Is there parking available for wedding guests at The Highfield?
There are 4 bays in front of the pub which are always free to park in- if available- along with the Highfield road on weekends. We also have a privately owned (not by us) car park beside us which is pay and display that guests are able to use. If you are a Townhouse hotel guest then the parking is included in your room price, just display the parking voucher on your car found in your room.
Is The Highfield child friendly?
Yes! We are a family friendly pub. We cater to little peaches with their own menus and colouring to keep them entertained!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Its your wedding so have what you want! No question or request is too much and we shall work with you to ensure every detail is thought about. You want a bespoke menu? Of course! You would like a certain cocktail served? No problem! We want the day to be special for you both.
