Welcome to Surrey Downs Golf Club, a beautiful contemporary wedding venue nestled amongst the stunning Surrey countryside. With picturesque golf course views, elegant surroundings and a dedicated Events Team, we're here to help you create a wedding day that's truly your own.

Licensed for civil ceremonies since 2015, we offer a wonderful setting for both your ceremony and reception, allowing you to celebrate every special moment in one place.

Our elegant, light-filled Willow Suite offers a private and versatile space, complete with:

Capacity for 120 seated guests, with a maximum of 150 guests standing, including bride and groom
Civil ceremony licence
Private entrance and exclusive use of your own bar
Direct access to your own private patio overlooking the golf course
Modern, neutral décor to complement your wedding style
Beautiful grounds and scenic photography backdrops
Dedictaed Wedding Coordinator to guide you through the planning process

For smaller celebrations, our first-floor Rowan Suite provides an intimate setting for up to 30 guests, with a civil ceremony licence and private balcony overlooking our grounds.

We believe every wedding should be unique, which is why we offer two flexible options:

In-House Catering: Delicious menus ranging from elegant three-course wedding breakfasts to relaxed BBQs and evening buffets.
Dry Hire: Bring your own caterers, create a menu that brings both cultures together and style the Willow Suite to reflect your vision.

Whichever you choose, our experienced Events Team will be on hand to guide you throughout the planning process.

Ideally located in Kingswood, Surrey, our venue offers a beautiful countryside setting while remaining conveniently accessible from Gatwick Airport and a range of local accommodation options.

We held our wedding reception at Surrey Downs on the weekend, and we cannot stress enough how well the event went. The staff were extremely attentive and flexible to make any adjustments we needed, and foresee any issues we had missed before they even arose. Rosanna and her team were a joy to work with, and truly made our day as special as could be. If you are planning your own wedding or special event, we cannot recommend Surrey downs any higher! We had our wedding at Surrey Downs and it was amazing from start to finish. Rachael the wedding coordinator is a credit to the company and made everything go smoothly on the day. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The food was just amazing. When we went and saw Surrey Downs Golf Club we fell in love with it and knew it was where we wanted to hold our wedding. We then were met by Rachael who organises events and were blown away, she was happy and helpful and during times of covid which our wedding took place in she was always on the phone or email responding to our many questions, fears or changes. On the day we were literally blown away, the room was how we imagined it, the weather finally was on our side When we went and saw Surrey Downs Golf Club we fell in love with it and knew it was where we wanted to hold our wedding. We then were met by Rachael who organises events and were blown away, she was happy and helpful and during times of covid which our wedding took place in she was always on the phone or email responding to our many questions, fears or changes. Too many to pick just one. We're surrounded by 180 acres of grounds creating the most picturesque setting for your wedding photos.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Every couple is a celebrity on their big day! However, we recently helped bring a beautiful family together on ITVs Long Lost Family.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our Chefs are passionate about the food they create. Our top two favourites have to be the Smoked salmon and cream cheese blinis and the Salted caramel coated profiteroles to satisfy our sweet tooth. Yum!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

We love our delicious hog roast that is cooked on site and superbly carved as well as our grab and go bacon rolls, perfect for a quick snack before hitting the dance floor!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The pergola that frames the entrance to the Willow Suite. At night time it comes alive with fairy lights and lanterns creating the most magical photos for you and your partner.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Without a doubt our team! Nothing is to much trouble, they go the extra mile to create an unforgettable experience for our couple and their guests.
