A Stay to RememberA Stay to Remember
A very special wedding in a very special place. Last March it was my 60th birthday and my partner at the time received an offer to book the lodges at Portsonachan at a very reasonable price. We decided to invite close family and friends for a ‘surprise’ birthday and in fact arranged a ‘surprise’ wedding for our guests. The staff at the Portsonachan Hotel could not have been more accommodating to make our wedding day and few days stay the best it could possibly be, keeping our secret and making sure all our wishes were met. The setting was absolutely stunning and all our guests had a blast. From beautiful walks to fishing/kayaking on the lake. The lodges were great with hot tubs overlooking the lake and the room where we held the ceremony was cosy and intimate. The registrar was fantastic too. We arranged the whole wedding via email! Thanks again to all the staff at Portsonachan for accommodating us. Our guests still talk about the wedding and how special it was. A very special wedding in a very special place.
