Licensed for wedding ceremonies both indoors and in our beautiful gardens, you can exchange vows surrounded by nature and the romance of our stunning country house.
Our dedicated bridal dressing room provides the perfect space for the bridal party to spend the morning together, getting ready, relaxing and enjoying those special moments before walking down the aisle.
Whether you dream of an elegant formal sit-down wedding breakfast, a traditional celebration or something a little different, we offer endless possibilities. The backdrop of our 1812 Georgian house and Orangery mixed with Stretch tents and Tepee for a festival feel - perfect 365 days a year with our catering partner serving BBQs, hog roasts, pizza vans or street food for informal options alongside a traditional 3 course wedding breakfast cocktails and canapes

In order to truly envisage your perfect day we would love you to book a viewing, the link is available direct on our website for 1-1 appointments or a late night open evening held every week. We offer indoor and outdoor ceremonies with a mix of Tepee and Stretch Tent festival feel to the back drop of our stunning Grade II Georgian house.

Staff made it super-easy to plan and everything was taken care of on the day, with Lisa even going above and beyond for one guest! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to our friends. Becci and Lisa were great from the beginning and made the whole experience smooth. Great food, reasonably priced and lovely intimate venue. Every detail and wish was catered for and we could not have asked for more. They really went above and beyond. Anything I was worried about Becci soon answered and took away any worries! None of our requests were too much and they made us, friends and family feel comfortable on the day. Becci was a calming influence and we had confidence she would make sure the day ran smoothly. They were really accommodating and allowed the bridal party to get ready in the lavender barn and having it set up as a child’s space in the evening. We would recommend Old Rectory go any couple looking for a wedding venue! Becki and the team were great from the planning to on the day. All our guests were commenting throughout the day how impressed they were with the venue and everyone who worked there, and the food went down an absolute storm! We know you run weddings all the time and that came through in your professionalism and expertise, but you also made us feel like ours was the most important event of the year. We really can't thank you enough, in particular Lisa - you were an absolute legend and we couldn't have felt in safer hands. A couple of things we need to wrap up - firstly, we left our lawn games in the Lavender Barn! Is there a good time for us to come and collect them? Secondly, are there any particular places online that would be helpful for us to leave a review? We're not on Facebook but are happy to give you a write-up elsewhere. We couldn't believe that we managed to find this beautiful venue at such short notice. I contacted Becci explained the situation and she couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask, she catered to our every request. Her professionalism and warmth shone through with every phone call and email. We went to visit the venue 1 week prior to our wedding day and we were bowled over by the beauty and tranquillity of the venue, it was perfect! There we meet Becci and Lisa, we discussed final details and again nothing was too much to ask. On the day of our wedding there was not a single hiccup, every bit of attention to detail was second to none and every member of staff were phenomenal. Now let me talk about the food…. It was outstanding, The best chicken dinner we have ever eaten. All of our family and friends couldn't believe that we were able to find such a beautiful perfect venue and for it all to go ahead without any issues in such a short timeframe. The wedding was planned in 2 weeks and honestly there is nothing that we would have changed or done differently if we had planned it over 2 years. We would highly recommend this amazing venue and team to anyone looking for a beautiful venue. One of our Brides brought her Horse on site to witness them get married, lots of Birds as ring bearers but our favourite is always the Pet Dog in full wedding outfits!

Our outdoor area is perfect for a sunny day, however, if the weather isn't on your side then you can have your ceremony in our outdoor covered area or use this area for a drinks and canapes reception.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We have hosted many many weddings over the years and are proud to be able to help make each one completely bespoke to each couple.
