Every wedding we have hosted at Newton Park Farm has been truly special, and it would be impossible for Guy and me to choose just one favourite. Each couple brings their own personality, style, and ideas to the venue, making every celebration completely unique. Over the years, we have been lucky enough to see so many wonderful and inspirational touches that have suited the venue beautifully and reflected each couple’s story perfectly. For us, the most important part of any wedding is not perfection or following trends — it is having the people you love around you, sharing a beautiful ceremony, enjoying delicious food, great music, lots of laughter, and creating memories that will stay with you forever. At the end of the day, it is the atmosphere, the love, the laughter, and the memories that make a wedding unforgettable

My number one piece of advice to all of our couples is not to worry too much about the little things. One of our brides recently came up to me and said, “Ginny, what about all the little details?” and I simply said to her, “Honestly, don’t worry too much about them.” Of course, the little touches are lovely and can add personality to your day, but if something gets forgotten, omitted, or doesn’t go exactly to plan, it truly does not matter in the grand scheme of things. What your guests and most importantly, the two of you will remember is being surrounded by the people you love, sharing a beautiful ceremony, enjoying wonderful food and music, celebrating in a stunning setting, and creating memories that will stay with you for the rest of your lives. That is what makes a wedding truly special.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of hosting so many beautiful weddings at Newton Park Farm, and one of the most special things for us has been seeing the wonderful personal touches that every couple brings to their day. One particularly memorable celebration featured a performance by renowned broadcaster and DJ Tony Blackburn, creating an unforgettable evening entertainment for guests. We have also welcomed exceptional catering experiences to the venue, including one wedding beautifully catered by celebrated chef Jimmy Garcia, whose creativity and outstanding food added another special touch to the day.

We love everything about our venue, but what makes it most special for us is being part of such an important and joyful occasion in people’s lives. One of our favourite parts is cooking breakfast for everyone the following morning and hearing the delight from the couple, their families, and friends as they relive the wonderful memories from the day before. There is something so lovely about the relaxed atmosphere the next morning, with everyone still smiling, sharing stories, and talking about what a fabulous and memorable celebration it was.

For us, it is those moments, seeing people genuinely happy, relaxed, and enjoying time together. This makes what we do so rewarding and reminds us why we love Weddings.
