Whatever your style, we can cater for you. Working with our resident chef and sommelier we’ll help create your ideal menu, whether it be an informal buffet or a three course meal. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but we’ll make it as easy as possible for you and ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Exquisite private rooms, gorgeous suites, a tranquil terraced garden and heavenly dining. Hotel du Vin York provides the perfect backdrop for weddings and Civil Partnerships as you glide elegantly from ceremony to celebration and beyond - all orchestrated flawlessly by your own personal Wedding Planner. At Hotel Du Vin, we have four beautiful and individually styled private event spaces which are all licensed for ceremonies, to be used separately or together to create your special day.

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the food is absolutely incredible, but what makes it really stand out most is the staff. From beginning to end they made us and our guests feel so special and everything we needed was taken care of. Claire and Adam helped us to plan the whole weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make it the most special and magical weekend of our lives.I recently had my wedding here and I can't express enough how amazing this hotel is. And then the wedding day itself completely exceeded our expectations further. The day ran so smoothly start to finish thanks to the incredible staff at Hotel Du Vin. All our guests were so impressed with the food and it was nice to have options too. The bistro area of the hotel was transformed in to an incredible party space to accommodate for our 70 guests. Any allergies were adhered to. The hotel itself was incredible. The decor and mood of the room was nice and rustic which is what we wanted for a York based venue.Great communication from the events team, everyone we dealt with acted proactively and professionally and were quick to respond to any quieres we had.
