Built in 1911, with over a century’s worth of stories, the Manor House is bursting with period character. Carved fireplaces, grand chandeliers and beautiful bay leaded windows, our recent £6million refurbishment promises you will be celebrating in luxurious splendor. We had our special day on the 11th October 2025, and everything was amazing. The team from the moment we came in for the open day until the wedding day were so helpful, polite, friendly and everything we could want. Pre communication was great with prompt responses and no question being too much. Thank you to Jo, Maisie and Ellie! Silvia and her team on the day were amazing, the food had raving reviews, and I cannot fault Horwood. Amazing Wedding Venue Amazing Wedding Venue
The wedding day itself was well organised and this was assisted by the venue. The menu was amazing and they took note of all our alterations for the food. The suite we stayed in was amazing, spacious and fitted the needs for getting the bridal party ready in the morning. We also enjoyed our stay the day after the wedding once all the guests had gone, and they amazingly upgraded our room so that we could stay in the bridal suite. The icing on the top of the cake was that the venue is dog friendlyThe wedding day itself was well organised and this was assisted by the venue. We had our wedding at Horwood House Hotel on Sunday and I don’t even know where to start the team were absolutely fantastic. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble people were already moving and organising for us before we even asked or thought about it. Every single person took great care of us and made us feel so amazing. A special mention to Georgina, Maisie, Maisie and Daria for going above and beyond to make sure every guest was comfortable. The food was out of this world, everyone was talking about it the next day. There were clear plates all around and the evening buffet was beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. The team are so good at what they do, the whole day felt so easy and organised to every little detail! This hotel deserves 10 stars it was beautiful the rooms were so clean and every guest felt like they were special. If you’re not looking at Horwood House for your wedding you should be, our whole stay and spa experience was just magical. The biggest thank you to Maisie, and the whole team at Horwood House. We don’t really have enough words to describe how much of a perfect day we had - we had the best day ever and it was better than we could have ever imagined. Our guests absolutely loved Horwood House and we’ve had so many compliments on how slick the whole operation was and how good the food was. Also thank you for the thoughtful details and the handwritten postcards in the rooms etc and for saving canapés for us - all such great touches.The biggest thank you to Maisie, and the whole team at Horwood House. Travel Notes

From the M1 South: Leave the M1 at junction 13 and take the A421 towards Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Buckingham. This is the main road through Milton Keynes so you will go over about 15 roundabouts. The last of these is called the ‘Bottledump’. After one mile go straight over the roundabout with Mursley signposted on your left. Take the next left signposted Little Horwood (this is a small road – take care not to miss it!). Follow this road into Little Horwood and when you pass the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left, take the next road on your left towards Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on your right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M1 North: Leave the M1 at junction 14 signposted to Newport Pagnell, turning right onto the A509 towards Milton Keynes. Immediately after this, take the A5130 towards Woburn Sands. This road leads onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Buckingham and is the main road through Milton Keynes so you will go over about 15 roundabouts. The last of these is called the ‘Bottledump’. After one mile go straight over the roundabout with Mursley signposted on your left. Take the next left signposted Little Horwood (this is a small road – take care not to miss it!). Follow this road into Little Horwood and when you pass the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left, take the next road on your left signed Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on the right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M40 South: Leave the M40 at junction 10 and take the A43 towards Brackley. At the first roundabout take the A421 towards Buckingham and Milton Keynes. Keep to the A421 and after 17 miles go straight over a roundabout. Great Horwood is signposted on the right. Take the next road on the right for Little Horwood. At the Tjunction turn right and travel into Little Horwood, past the Shoulder of Mutton pub on the left. Take the next road on your left for Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The centre is on the right after approximately 3/4 mile. From the M40 North: Leave the M40 at junction 11 for Banbury and take the left turn onto the A422 towards Brackley and Buckingham. Follow this road for 15 miles into the centre of Buckingham, taking the ‘all routes’ signs onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes and Bletchley. Follow this road for a further 4 miles and you will go straight over a roundabout signed Great Horwood to your right. Take the next road on your right onto the A421 towards Milton Keynes and Bletchley. Follow this road for a further 4 miles and you will go straight over a roundabout signed Great Horwood to your right. Take the next road on your right signed for Little Horwood. At the T-junction turn right into Little Horwood, going past the Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left. Take the next left road for Mursley, Leighton Buzzard and Horwood Estate. The Centre is 3/4 mile along on your right.
