With over 30 years’ experience, CHW venues hold exclusively weddings and are exclusively yours for the day. With a wealth of character and period features, Holmewood Hall can be found nestled away in the idyllic countryside of Cambridgeshire. Exclusive use of house and grounds allows for flawless photograph opportunities, or for winter weddings, enjoy the variety of reception rooms, each with stunning features, within the house. Your ceremony can take place in the spectacular Gold Room, complete with its 50 ft-long aisle and 18-carat gold ceiling, for a truly memorable wedding experience. The bandstand is an idyllic outdoor ceremony setting for sunnier days. Dine in style in the Dining Room with striking views across the lake, then party the night away in the Vault.
Every wedding is supported by our dedicated Personal Wedding Manager, who helps you plan and oversees the smooth running of your day. Our in-house chefs create your bespoke menu from canapés to the wedding breakfast, and our all-inclusive packages include welcome drinks and canapés, a three-course wedding breakfast with tea, coffee and petits fours, house wine and sparkling wine for the speeches, a late evening buffet, full bar facilities with staff, and a DJ and disco until midnight. Furnishings, linen and house floral decorations are all included, and our finishing touches, signature upgrades and trusted suppliers let you add the extras that make the day your own. To help you spread the cost, we also offer monthly payment plans. You’re welcome to visit us through our open days, private viewings or virtual tours before you book.

Waitress/waiters and bar staff were amazing. Everyone was very approachable and friendly. Laura was amazing. Drinks were lovely. Many compliments from guests on the elderflower Cosmo cocktail. Staff great - Laura, Ben, Three very lovely waiters/waitresses assisting the top table at the wedding. Can’t remember their names but nothing was too much trouble for them.Stunning grounds. The bedrooms were so lovely, all of the guests that stayed there had nothing but good things to say about it, and we both were very comfortable in the Renaissance Honeymoon Suite. All of our guests were very happy with the food provided, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the food that was provided. We can’t thank Laura enough for all her help with the planning and execution of everything!Everything was absolutely stunning! The bedrooms were so lovely, all of the guests that stayed there had nothing but good things to say about it, and we both were very comfortable in the Renaissance Honeymoon Suite. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Our first wedding! It was held on the 15th June 2019 and it was a beautiful day which allowed for our couple to have some great photos outside. We served their guests with specially selected canapes by the couple with welcome drinks including summer Pimm’s and bottles of Budweiser beer. The weather was kind to them so they made use of our 10 acres of grounds to have some beautiful photos in.

Always utilise the experience of our fantastic Personal Wedding managers – they are there to be by your side throughout the whole planning process as well as your special day and no question is too silly to ask!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A family member ordered a bottle of prosecco and a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries for their couple to enjoy the night of their wedding, this was delivered to their bedroom with a personalised note from the family member.

The Balcony of our stunning Tudor Style Mansion, this is often used by our couples to get that perfect shot, have a royal wave moment to their guests or even for the bride to throw her bouquet from!

We offer an excellent all-inclusive wedding package which we are most proud of, with so much included - it is designed especially for our couples to include everything they may require for their special day.
