The elegance, privacy and history of Henge Estate makes it the ideal location for a wedding. Wedding ceremonies may be at St Mary’s ancient Norman Church in Shrewton, or couples may choose a legal civil ceremony anywhere in the house or grounds of Henge Estate, conducted by registrars from the local registry office. Alternatively, we can recommend wonderful celebrants for symbolic ceremonies. In this case, the legal ceremony must take place elsewhere unless the celebrant is authorised to conduct legal marriages. The celebration can then continue at Henge Estate for a romantic wedding reception set in the historic grounds or house. For rehearsal dinners and micro weddings of 10 to 24 guests, the dining room is set up as an intimate and stylish space that looks out onto the front lawn and fields. For 25-200 people, a marquee is set up on the lawn in front of the Manor House, looking out to the parkland rural setting. The bridal party can stay at Henge Estate, where there are 11 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. It sleeps up to 24 people and is available in its entirety for exclusive use.

- JJacob06/02/2026False advertising False advertisingWe were told the pricing would be £4500 for a weekend wedding in 2027. We went to view the estate and the person giving the tour confirmed the price. We go to book the venue and now the price is £11,150. When questioned on the price. It was apparently £4500 for a Wednesday wedding in 2026….. We never discussed a Wednesday wedding in 2026 so unsure on why we were told that price. It seems a Saturday wedding in 2026 is actually double that and then the price is increase by another £3k in 2027. Extremely disappointing to find this out as we were trying to book. The beds and rooms looked even better than the pictures. The grounds and property were amazing for our perfect wedding. We can't wait to visit it again. Would definitely recommend it to others wanting to get married here. The host, Victoria was extremely kind and helpful, and answered all of our questions swiftly. We didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend!Our stay at Henge Estate was one of the best we have ever had. The house was super clean and tidy. It is immaculately clean, so comfortable and well stocked with anything you may need. The house was exactly what I envisioned for our wedding - simply stunning. We have had the best time celebrating our wedding in the most perfect venue. The house made the wedding so, so special, the level of detail in the decor was just beautiful. Everyone had their own bathroom and plenty of space for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Would love to have stayed longer and would love to come back with friends another time. We rented this place for our wedding and our guests loved it. Every corner of the house has a special detail and is very well-equipped. Communication with Victoria was excellent and Alex was very kind and helpful. I think it was very thoughtful from them to give us privacy to feel ourselves at home. We had the best weekend of our lives and many of our guests told us the same. Cannot be more happier to have chose Henge Estate.The house is incredible and every room is like a 5 star hotel. The walled garden was the perfect spot for our ceremony and the tennis courts transformed into the most incredible hidden dance floor! The house itself was beautiful and also allowed our nearest and dearest to spend the entire weekend with us. We feel so incredibly lucky to have found such a perfect spot to celebrate our wedding.Henge Estate was the most magical setting for our wedding. The walled garden is such a romantic setting for an outdoor ceremony and all the grounds have a fabulous country house magic. My bride and groom liked the chance to stay in the house with their families over the weekend and the guests enjoyed camping in the meadow. It’s a wonderful venue. I loved the chance to be the celebrant at a wedding at the Henge Estate this summer. The walled garden is such a romantic setting for an outdoor ceremony and all the grounds have a fabulous country house magic. My bride and groom liked the chance to stay in the house with their families over the weekend and the guests enjoyed camping in the meadow. It’s a wonderful venue.

Henge Estate has lots of beautiful features but its many different spaces means it can be tailored to your requirements. From intimate gatherings in our dining room to grand celebrations in a marquee, it is totally up to you! It also has accommodation for the bridal party (up to 24 people) to stay for 1-2 nights and make a wedding weekend to remember forever.
