With two beautiful wedding venues in East Lothian to choose from you can create your own unique celebration. This isn’t a one night affair but a weekend celebration where friends and family from far and wide can come together in their very own private site, set in one of the most beautiful venues in East Lothian, just 45 minutes from Edinburgh. Get married on a stunning beach with white sand beneath your feet at our Beach Cabin site and spend your wedding night in our romantic honeymoon cabin which is styled in the ultimate white ‘Arabian Night’ decor of flowing white draped lined walls and white four poster bed, engulfed in billowing white drapery, looking out to sea. What better way to start married life! Hold your reception in our new purpose built wedding barn complete with tables and chairs, beautiful lighting and great views. Or why not get married at our beautiful woodland site next to our treehouses in view of the Bass Rock and spend your wedding night in our stunning treehouse? Situated 2 meters off the ground with spectacular views, this will be a wedding celebration like no other. The sites are yours for the weekend and we can cater for different themes and sizes of wedding. What’s more we encourage you to make the celebration uniquely yours by adding your own personal touches. Words do not do the sites justice so please contact us to arrange a wedding visit.

Essentially you book one of our sites for the weekend or midweek and you can take some additional accommodation if you need it. The beach cabin site sleeps over 50 people and has the beach ceremony area, the Treehouse site with woodland ceremony area sleeps around 40 people. We also have a lovely modern cottage.

We had the best stay at Harvest Moon for a friend's wedding. The setting is spectacular and the treehouses are super cute. The team are brilliant and have everything you might have forgotten in the honesty shop. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach, or wander for a walk and say hi to the animals. I've already recommended to friends with kids, as I know they'd love it too.We had the best stay at Harvest Moon for a friend's wedding. The setting is spectacular and the treehouses are super cute. I couldn't think of a more special place to get married than at Harvest Moon. We had our ceremony in the woods and our reception looking over the beach and all our friends and family staying on site. Everyone was blown away with how beautiful it was. Alex and his team were wonderful in helping us prepare for the big day and ensuring everyone got checked in okay. We had our Festival themed wedding at Harvest Moon in September. It couldn't have been more perfect, the venue and the staff were AMAZING!! From the first day we visited right through to the wedding the service we received was top notch. The team at harvest moon make you feel right at home and like your wedding is the only and most important thing ever. Our guests loved staying in the accommodation and having the run of the place for a few days. Harvest Moon is an incredible place to get married! Hector and I feel so lucky to have found it. It has such a chilled relaxed vibe to it and is so much fun having the place to yourself for the weekend with lots of guests able to stay with you. It’s such a flexible place and totally up to you how you set things up and the day goes. Absolutely perfect. Everyone was raving about it! Added to that the Harvest Moon team - Alex, Petra, Chris and Gary - are all so friendly and helpful. Harvest Moon is an incredible place to get married! Hector and I feel so lucky to have found it. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

So many great weddings but a recent one that stood out was people coming from all over the world to celebrate the marriage of a Slovakian groom and Chinese bride who settled in Scotland and seeing the bride 'tossing the caber' in her wedding dress at the mini highland games they had organised after the ceremony. It was an international wedding with a Scottish heart.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Feel free to ask us anything however daft you think it is, we have seen and heard most things and are always happy to help.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The groom arriving to the beach ceremony on a jet ski with a tuxedo painted on to his wet suit may not have been the favorite but it was definitely the most memorable.

Being able to get married on a wonderful beach.
