Our intimate wedding venue accommodates up to 70 daytime guests and 150 evening guests, perfect for couples who want a venue that feels exclusive yet spacious.
Tailored Wedding Packages for Your Perfect Day
Unlike many wedding venues, we offer flexible wedding packages. You simply pay the venue hire and then tailor your food and drink choices to suit your taste—no need to commit to strict, pre-set packages.
On-Site Wedding Ceremonies
We are also licensed to host wedding ceremonies, meaning you can have everything from the vows to the reception under one beautiful roof. Whether you dream of a classic indoor ceremony or a vintage-inspired celebration, Durham Masonic Hall provides an intimate and elegant setting.

I’m the Wedding & Events Coordinator here at Durham Masonic Hall, and I absolutely love what I do. We’re not a huge venue, and that’s exactly why I think our couples love us. We’re small, we’re personal, and we care — a lot. We don’t host 5 weddings a day or rush you out the door for the next booking. When you book with us, the entire building is yours, and you’re not just another date in the diary — you're someone we genuinely get excited about.

Bar to the right and a beautiful staircase to the left. Good, clean amenities. Friendly staff. The grand hall is beautiful with dark oak panelling and beautiful windows to the far end The gardens at the rear are well maintained and sheltered with a beautiful view over the cricket/racecourse ground. This little gem is situated just outside of the centre of Durham with ample free parking after 6pm.What a lovely venue. You walk in to a wide entrance. Bar to the right and a beautiful staircase to the left. Good, clean amenities. Friendly staff.
