Facilities and Capacity
Blencowe Hall sits within a 30-acre private estate in the Eden Valley, just four miles from the Lake District National Park. The two restored sandstone castellated towers, cobbled courtyard, oak floors, flagstones, chandeliers and log fires create an extraordinary setting for a wedding celebration that feels genuinely unlike anywhere else. Guests are welcome to choose between several internal reception rooms for their ceremony or to have a garden terrace ceremony.
The Hall accommodates 24 guests across 12 individually styled double bedrooms, with additional cottage and shepherds hut accommodation on the estate bringing total onsite capacity to 54 guests. For larger parties, a marquee or tipi can be erected in the adjoining grounds, with trusted provider recommendations available. The front lawn offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony option, weather permitting.
