No awkward posing. No forced smiles. Just natural, heartfelt wedding photography that tells the real story of your day.
Hi, I’m Andy, a wedding photographer with a relaxed, documentary approach. I capture honest, joy-filled moments as they happen, so you can enjoy your wedding day knowing the big emotions, little glances, and everything in between are being beautifully preserved.
Natural, emotion-led storytelling
From the quiet moments to the big celebrations, I photograph your day as it really feels. My aim is to create timeless images full of real connection, not staged perfection.
Relaxed portraits without the awkwardness
We’ll take a short, easy-going walk to create portraits that feel like you. I’ll offer gentle guidance when needed, but I’ll never over-pose you or keep you away from your guests for hours.
Calm, unobtrusive coverage
With over 200 weddings photographed, I know when to step in, when to step back, and how to keep things feeling calm, smooth, and stress-free.
A friendly face you can rely on
I’m there to capture the moments you see, the ones you miss, and the atmosphere that makes your day unique. I’ll blend in, help where I can, and quietly keep things moving behind the scenes.
Couples often tell me they love how relaxed I make them feel, how naturally their gallery tells the story of the day, and how many moments I capture without them even noticing I was there.
My approach is simple: let you enjoy your wedding, keep photography stress-free, and create a gallery that brings all the memories back.
I offer full-day wedding photography with flexible options to suit your plans. All packages include an online gallery, sneak peeks within 72 hours, and help with planning your group photos, timings, and more.
If you’re looking for a photographer who blends in, brings calm energy, and captures the real atmosphere of your wedding day, I’d love to hear from you.
Get in touch and we can arrange a video call. I’ll walk you through a full wedding gallery and chat through your plans.
My most memorable wedding was Cat & Ed's wedding at Broadhaven Bay in Belmullet County Mayo. It was my first destination wedding and first opportunity to use a beach for wedding photos!
Natural, Documentary, Candid, Unobtrusive, Creative
I'm proud of the amazing moments I have captured for 100+ happy couples.
I advise my couples not to plan too many formal group shots. Formal group shots can take up to 5 mins per group as it always takes time to gather wedding guests for the photos. I recommend limiting the group shot list to around 10 groups max.
My favourite personal touch at a wedding was a wedding cake which truly represented the couple - it was a stunning cake featuring elements of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones in the design.
I normally arrange a meeting or a Zoom consultation to discuss you wedding plans and talk you through my wedding packages and range of wedding albums. Following this if the couple would like to make a booking I require a £300 deposit and a contract to be signed and returned.
Some of my wedding packages come with a pre-wedding shoot. This is organised midweek Mon-Thurs closer to the time of the wedding and allows me to get to know the couple so that they can be as relaxed as possible on the wedding day itself - resulting in beautiful, natural wedding photos.
After the wedding you will receive your photos in an online gallery typically 4-6 weeks after the wedding day.
The majority of my work is documentary style photography however I would still recommend time is taken on a few portraits with the couple. I aim to keep these as fun and natural as possible.
The most original photo is probably a shot from Fran and Malc's Game of Thrones themed wedding. I almost always take a group shot of my couple with all their guests. Fran and Malc's wedding was slightly unique as Malc was wielding a sword and holding it aloft for the photo!
You can still get stunning wedding photos on a wet day. A white umbrella for the bride and rainbow coloured umbrellas for bridesmaids can look fab!
I was a self-employed web designer and wanted to offer an extra service, so I learned photography. I soon started photographing weddings, sporting events, and gigs and haven't looked back!
