Perfect venue for our special day!We recently got married at the Westgrove Hotel in May, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our special day. ❤️ We first visited the Westgrove when they were hosting a wedding fair, and from the moment we walked in, we were blown away. It looked absolutely unreal, and we knew straight away that it was where we wanted to get married. From the moment we booked our wedding right through to the day we left, the service was absolutely amazing. The whole team were incredible, and the vendors were fantastic. A special mention has to go to Lydia, who was absolutely amazing throughout the entire day. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were looked after. Even when my dress zipper decided to break on the day, Lydia had it completely under control! 😂❤️ All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful to us and all of our guests. We had so many of our guests comment on how amazing the hotel, staff and service were - honestly, not one person had a bad word to say. We were made to feel like VIPs throughout the entire experience, and every little detail was taken care of. We felt so special and so well looked after from beginning to end. We genuinely cannot thank Lydia and the entire Westgrove team enough for making our wedding day so perfect and so memorable. The whole experience just was amazing from start to finish our guests have said the staff the food the venue everything from the get go was the best experience and other best wedding they have been at. They made the whole planning process so smooth, We couldn’t even imagine having to plan our wedding without them or the package. They were both so quick at answering any questions we had. The week of the wedding they were brilliant at going through the final details and helping us make last minute changes. The vendors within the package are amazing. We got so many compliments on the day about the food, the staff, the rooms, the band, the decor. Our day couldn’t have went any better and that’s all thanks to the staff at the Westgrove, They’re so welcoming and accommodating. We already can’t wait to come back and celebrate our 1st anniversary. ❤️We cannot recommend the Westgrove Hotel as a wedding venue enough! Lydia and Lorna are just amazing at what they do. So I was freaking out for the most of it. The moment we met up with Lorna , she was warmth , helpful and just so genuine that she made us feel so comfortable that the venue became the one. No matter how busy they are, as they are back to back on weddings , she replies as fast as she can on any query and will try her very best to accommodate anything and we truly believe that woman doesn’t know the word No. Along with the wedding co ordinator, the staff members are absolutely amazing , another woman we would like to thank you is Bonnie , she made me feel at ease especially before walking down the aisle. But also loved the chat and the good laugh with her. If we were to go back in time and redo anything , we would choose the Westgrove all over again. The venue , the food was top notch. It is definitely the best value for money for the wedding package. We would like to thank Lorna, Bonnie and all the staff and suppliers that were involved on making our wedding the most amazing day for us and our family, friends and all our guests. We had our special day there in July and the attention to detail was spot on. From the get go when we booked our wedding Lydia was so nice warm and professional , gave us her time and patience to go through everything even when it was a particular busy day at a wedding show case she sat down with us and went through everything whilst we were booking. Our family were full of compliments in all areas, the decor , the staff , the food everything was just perfect and spot on. The girls really can’t do enough for you on the lead up to the special day and make it the most perfect atmosphere on the day. Bonnie was amazing on the day and all the waiting staff were amazing. We checked into the hotel earlier in the week in preparation for our wedding weekend and our day-two BBQ, and from start to finish, the entire hotel team could not have done enough for us, our families and our guests. We were made to feel so welcome and so well looked after, and every little detail was taken care of. Lydia deserves a very special mention. When she came to collect me and my dad to bring us down to the ceremony, she was absolutely amazing at putting me at ease. In what was such an emotional and nerve-wracking moment, her calmness, kindness and reassurance meant so much to me. It’s a moment I’ll always remember. The whole wedding day was simply show-stopping. Everything ran like clockwork, including the serving of the food. Every guest was served so smoothly and efficiently, and the attention to detail throughout the evening was incredible. You could see how much work was happening behind the scenes to make everything feel effortless for us and our guests. Bonnie also did an amazing job on the day, particularly during our meal. She was constantly organising everything, keeping an eye on timings and making sure the entire evening ran smoothly. The Westgrove was the only venue we viewed, but we just knew from talking to Lorna & Bonnie at the wedding fair that we would be well taken care of. The package took so much stress out of the planning. We picked Alan Dunne (photographer), Absolutely Fabulous Flowers, Amazing Cakes, Livewire (band) and had our wedding in the civil ceremony room in lieu of transport. I also highly recommend those vendors, they were amazing to work with! The food was absolutely delicious and our menu tasting was a real high point of the whole planning process. Our guests loved it too. The decor (welcome sign, table plan, ceremony arch, menus) that come with the package are absolutely perfect and take the hassle out of designing and printing yourself. The candy cart was also a great addition at no extra expense to us. The drinks package included is also very generous (Prosecco, half bottle of wine per person at dinner & toast drink). Lorna & Lydia were absolutely fabulous as wedding coordinators, I honestly cannot thank them enough for answering all my questions by email, for the final run through call, and on the day itself! We absolutely loved our day, but it also felt like Lorna genuinely loved our guests and our day for us too! The bridal apartment the night before was perfect space wise as we had lots of people coming and going! The honeymoon and parents’ suites were also beautiful. Our guests thought the whole venue was beautiful. I especially loved how no-one had to move in order to set up the dance floor, so there was no break in atmosphere. The room never felt crowded or too empty, it was perfectly proportioned for cake table, candy cart, stage for band, DJ set-up (we got our own DJ) and Photobooth.
