- SSarah and Jamie20/05/2026The most amazing day of our lives!The most amazing day of our lives!We could not recommend the Abbey Court Hotel enough! We went with the Vintage Package including the Tipis which had everything you could think of and more included. We were dealing with Jodi for 2 years prior and she could not do enough for us. From early morning video calls when we lived in New Zealand to being by our side on the day, she was magnificent! I know Kate has now taken over this position who we met the night before who is also wonderful! We handed over everything in boxes and she knew exactly what needed to be done and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The main thing that stood out to us when picking the Abbey Court as our wedding venue was their Tipi setup. It was a great addition to the day as you're not stuck inside all day and it makes everything flow throughout. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. All anyone can talk about is the beef and Vol au vents! That's also coming from a family of picky eaters! The staff were also the most wonderful, friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel/wedding. They could not do enough for you. We were made to feel so welcome and special on our day surrounded by close friends. I am so sad its over now but delighted we have somewhere amazing to visit and relive all the amazing memories! So jealous of future couples that get to plan their wedding day here! We could not recommend the Abbey Court Hotel enough! We had our drinks reception in the Tipi and it was so different to any other wedding we had been to and it was what drew us to the venue initially- it didnt disappoint. We had live music in the Tipu and it created such a fabulous relaxed atmosphere for everyone after the ceremony. There was food and drinks all day long and so many of our guests have commented on it. Everyone was stuffed! The dinner service was absolutely phenomenal. The food was 10/10 and lots of people have gone out of their way to tell us how amazing the food was afterwards, every course was delicious. The evening food was also amazing and plentiful and came at the perfect time when everyone wanted a bit of a snack. The staff at the hotel and the wedding coordinators were absolutely fabulous to deal with, nothing was too much hassle and they set up the decor I had brought out perfectly. We had the most perfect day so a huge thank you to everyone at the Abbeycourt for helping us make it to special. The rooms and hotel lobby, bar and function room are elegantly decorated. The food was superb with melt on your mouth tenderised beef served as the main course for dinner. Excellent coffee is on offer in a fab coffee station at the lobby which was a welcome early morning pick-me-up after dancing into the wee hours. But most remarkable of all were the staff, attentive, engaging and friendly. Great to seeHusband and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding and were both very impressed. Jodi, the wedding coordinator, was always available for any queries or requests we had from the get go. She was so lovely to communicate with and we knew from very early on that she was on the ball. The staff of the Abbey Court hotel were unbelievable. We could not speak highly enough of them, they were so welcoming, friendly and professional. Walkable to the town centre of Nenagh and view of the castle from some rooms! Would be a fantastic wedding or event venue as well. Lisa on reception was so helpful, she gave me a beautiful room near reception & also the fan that I asked for was in the room when we arrived. Food for the wedding was scrumptious & the staff were so jolly. Five stars also to the manager who was also on duty New Years Day. We slept through breakfast but had delicious roast beef for lunch, again exceptional staff. Could not fault this hotel in anyway.An amazing hotel for a New Years Eve Wedding. Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements and allergies. We just ask for advance notice before the wedding day.
How much is the deposit?
If you are having a wedding of 100 people or more, a non-refundable deposit of €1,000 is required to secure your date. If it is an intimate wedding, the deposit required is €500.
