Nestled in the heart of a 1,550-hectare wine estate between Sainte-Baume and Sainte-Victoire, the Terres de Saint Hilaire offer an exceptional Provençal setting for your wedding.
The estate offers two distinct venues: the Manor, a 19th-century country house with a bright hall, terraces, and shaded gardens, and an intimate Provençal village for up to 150 people under a bamboo tent. Each space can be adapted to your wishes—a ceremony overlooking the vineyards, a cocktail reception under the oak trees, or dinner under the stars.
Your guests can stay overnight and enjoy brunch the following morning, for a true wedding weekend. Wines from the estate, served at the table, add an authentic local touch. Several covered areas ensure a successful celebration in all weather.
Awarded the Wedding Awards in 2022 and 2023, the estate is accompanied by a responsive and attentive team, for a stress-free wedding day and unforgettable memories.
Les Terres de Saint Hilaire adapts to all wedding styles thanks to two distinct spaces.
For large weddings, the Manor can accommodate up to 200 seated guests and 350 for a cocktail reception, with a large 170 m² room featuring a monumental fireplace and a 300 m² panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards.
For intimate weddings, Mas de la Marotte — a true little Provençal village — is ideal for up to 150 people, with its shaded courtyard, bamboo tent and the possibility of accommodating guests on site.
Those who love the outdoors can enjoy the lawn for the ceremony, the oak-lined esplanade for the cocktail reception, or even dine under the stars. And if the weather turns unpredictable, several covered spaces provide an immediate and stress-free alternative.
Whether intimate or grand, entirely outdoors or a mix of both, in summer or winter: the Terres de Saint Hilaire welcomes all weddings with the same exceptional Provençal setting.
The Terres de Saint Hilaire estate is a true paradise for wedding photographers.
The olive groves offer a typically Provençal setting, with their gnarled trunks and silvery foliage that perfectly capture the southern light, both in broad daylight and at sunset.
The vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, with the majestic silhouette of the Sainte-Baume mountains as a backdrop—a panorama that lends each photograph unparalleled depth and grandeur. As the seasons change, the vineyard transforms: tender green in spring, golden in autumn, it offers ever-renewed atmospheres.
In addition, there is the centuries-old olive tree in the garden, the old chapel nestled near the Manor for intimate and vintage portraits, the panoramic terrace of the Manor and its shady walkways of centuries-old trees.
Every corner of the estate tells a story and enhances the newlyweds in an authentically Provençal natural setting.
Spring (April-June) is particularly magical: the vines turn green, the olive trees come alive, the temperatures are mild and ideal for fully enjoying outdoor spaces.
Summer offers starry nights under which to dine al fresco, a warm golden light — what photographers call the "golden hour" — which enhances portraits in olive groves.
Autumn is also splendid: the autumn sunset bathes the Manor's terrace in a golden light over the vines, and the vineyard's colors create vibrant and unique settings. A wedding in early October, slightly cool but sunny, can be truly perfect.
Whatever the season chosen, the estate adapts: outdoor spaces in the summer, a bright room and monumental fireplace for the cooler months.
The Terres de Saint Hilaire estate has thought of everything so that the bride and groom and their guests can enjoy a weekend without logistical constraints.
On-site accommodation: the estate offers 15 cottages (sleeping 2 to 11 people) and 15 bedrooms, allowing many guests to stay overnight and avoid any travel after the party. The cottages at Mas de la Marotte are rated 3 to 4 stars, ranging from studios to 6-bedroom units, in a fully renovated former farmhouse featuring high-quality materials and typical Provençal décor.
Parking: Ample free outdoor parking is available on site, no reservation required, to comfortably accommodate all guests. Petit Futé
Accessibility for people with reduced mobility: The reception areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, the rooms at the Auberge and Tourettes are not.
Access: The estate is easily accessible, 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and 1 hour from Marseille, with Wi-Fi available throughout the site.
The Terres de Saint Hilaire exude an authentically Provençal atmosphere, where nature, history and elegance blend in perfect harmony.
The estate exudes the gentle way of life of the South: the centuries-old stones of the Manor and the Mas de la Marotte, the gnarled olive trees, the vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see against a backdrop of mountains, the shady avenues of oak trees — everything here invites you to slow down, to enjoy, to celebrate.
The style is decidedly rustic-chic, a blend of noble rusticity and Provençal elegance. Neither too formal nor too rustic, it possesses a natural authenticity that appeals to couples seeking a bohemian outdoor wedding as well as those dreaming of a refined reception in a characterful hall with a monumental fireplace.
The atmosphere is friendly and warm, enhanced by generous spaces and a caring and attentive team.
A place where you feel at home, but better.
