Wedding Ceremony at Jonah’s
Jonah’s offers its unique cliff-top garden with scenic Whale Beach views. The seating can be arranged for up to 20 people. Please note that you can book a garden for your wedding ceremony, only in addition to your reception package at Jonah’s.
The romantic ceremony setting in the garden includes a signage table and a wet weather alternative.
Wedding Receptions at Jonah’s
Jonah’s can cater to wedding celebrations with a minimum of 20 guests and a maximum of 122 guests with various seating options. The reception packages showcase the premium dishes and offer a unique gastronomic experience. All inquiries about special dietary requirements should be discussed before the event.
The bar options at Jonah’s include different beverage packages with top-class wines and an extensive selection of other drinks. Jonah’s has been awarded multiple times for its wine selection, so if you have wine lovers on your guest list, they will be impressed!

What are your timings for weddings?
Jonah's has a few options for events:
LUNCH: Guest arrival 11am, Ceremony start time 11:30am, Reception timing 12pm - 5pm
DINNER: Guest arrival 5pm, Ceremony start time 5:30pm, Reception timing 6pm - 11pm
EXCLUSIVE 24 HOUR HIRE: Whole venue for 24 luxurious hours from 11 am to 11 am the next day.

Jonah's has two types of weddings we can hold, see below for details:
Full Venue Exclusive Wedding Package:
- Thursday - Saturday
- Maximum capacity 122pax
Terrace Wedding Package:
- Thursday - Saturday
- Maximum capacity 40 pax
Can we have our Ceremony onsite?
Yes you can! We have a beautiful ceremony lawn in our clifftop garden with sweeping views of Whale Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
Both our Exclusive and Terrace Wedding Packages include a ceremony on our clifftop lawn. A Jonah's ceremony includes the following:
- 40 white chairs
- Signing table & chairs
- Coordinator on the day
- Wet weather backup option
Do you have accommodation onsite?
Yes we do, we have 12 luxury Ocean Retreat rooms onsite for you and your guests to enjoy. The bride and groom as well as their guests recieve a special rate when staying on the night of the wedding. The accommodation package includes a 2 course a la carte breakfast the following morning. Enquire with our events team for rates.
Do you offer BYO alcohol?
No we don't. We are a full service venue and we have an award winning wine list with around 1,600 wines to select from so we guarantee that our expert Sommelier can put together the perfect beverage selection for your special day.
Should we book a site visit or can we just turn up?
We recommend booking in a site visit with some one from the events team so that they can show you around the property and talk you through the details for your wedding at Jonah's. Email our Sales and Events Manager to organise your visit. You are also welcome to have dinner in our restaurant as a great way to experience the service and restaurant quality cuisine that your guests will experience at your wedding.
