How many guests can the venue accommodate?
We can comfortably host intimate weddings through to larger celebrations.
The Signals Room with adjoining sandstone terrace can seat up to 60 guests for a seated event and 80 guests for a cocktail style event.
For larger events, we invite you to use the entire venue for your private event. This includes The Signals Room and outdoor areas before dinner and the Balcony upstairs as your dining room. There is space for a central dancefloor and a separate lounge area where you can set up a whisky/gin bar.
Is there parking available?
Yes, nearby parking options are available for guests. We can also provide information regarding transport and shuttle services.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, accessibility options are available for guests' requiring assistance. Each level is flat with an accessible bathroom. There is a ramp onto the main balcony and wheelchair access on the driveway to move between the two levels.
Is there a wet weather backup option?
Yes, the covered sandstone terrace makes a beautiful wet weather location for ceremonies.
Do you allow third party catering?
Burnt Orange is a restaurant, and food is extremely important to us. All bookings must include a food package from our venue.
Is there a coordinator onsite on the day?
Yes — an event coordinator will be available to assist with venue-related logistics and ensure the day runs smoothly.
Can we have dancing and live music?
Yes. Burnt Orange accommodates wedding receptions with dancing and entertainment, subject to venue guidelines and timing requirements.
Are there good photo locations nearby?
The surrounding Middle Head bushland, sandstone architecture, harbour views, and terraces provide countless photo opportunities.
Do minimum spends apply?
Minimum spends may apply depending on the season, day of the week, and event style. Some couples note weekday and lunchtime weddings can offer more flexibility for intimate weddings.
Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Absolutely. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive menu options can all be catered for with advance notice.
